Carps Jumping Over Dragon Gate Chinese Scroll Painting – Silk Wall Art – Moon Waterfall

A Moon Waterfall scroll brings a different rhythm into a modern interior. You notice something new in it every few weeks. It gives the eye a place to rest and the mind a place to wander. The mood it sets is one of unhurried ease.

Ink and mineral pigments on silk give the colors their soft, lived-in depth. Fine line work defines the Carps without making them stiff. Spacing between the Jumping gives the eye places to rest. The Over and Carps are composed like a short poem. Folk prints and fine paintings alike used the dragon to promise power and good fortune.

For symbolic Chinese artwork, the cultural symbolism is a thoughtful bonus. For minimalist Asian wall art, it opens a window onto another aesthetic world. In short, a Moon Waterfall scroll like this one is decor you grow into, not out of. The craftsmanship behind it is evident without being showy.
