Tiger Chinese Scroll Painting – Silk Wall Art – Moon Rocks

This Moon Rocks scroll does not perform; it simply is. It has the poise of a well-kept secret. There is character in every part of it. It brings a slower tempo into the room.

The traditional mounting balances the image with plain silk borders top and bottom. The pine and waterfall are in quiet dialogue with each other. The broader washes never overwhelm the waterfall. Notice how the bamboo sit against the open background, nothing wasted. The waterfall was a favorite of scholar-painters precisely because it suggests good fortune that never runs dry.

As a piece of handcrafted Chinese artwork, it is personal in a way mass prints never are. It works as Chinese scroll art for the office for anyone who prefers calm over clutter. To wrap up, a Moon Rocks scroll is a small, daily luxury worth having. The gentle color story makes it easy to style around.
